How to Make Clay in Infinite Craft
Checked in the game in October 2026
Clay branches off the Brick route at the very last step. You still make Steam and soak Earth into Mud, but instead of firing the Mud you add more Earth. Thicker, earthier Mud is Clay in the game's eyes, so the difference between the two recipes is just Fire versus Earth.
Quick answer
Earth+Mud=Clay
Combine Earth and Mud to get Clay.

Tip: Clay + Plant gives a Pot, the step toward Cook and Chef. Clay + Water makes Pottery and Clay + Mountain makes a Golem.
