The game

Is Infinite Craft free to play here?

Yes. The game, the recipe guides and the recipe search are all free. There is no sign-up, no account and nothing to download. The site is paid for by the ads you see around the content.

Is this the original Infinite Craft from neal.fun?

No, and we want to be clear about that. The original Infinite Craft was created by developer Neal Agarwal and released on his site neal.fun on January 31, 2024. You can play it at neal.fun/infinite-craft.

Infinite-Craft.org is an unofficial fan site. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Neal Agarwal or neal.fun.

Who makes the version on this site?

Our team does. The game on the home page is the browser version of our mobile app, Infinite Elements – AI Craft. The same team runs this site and writes the guides.

Is it the same as the Infinite Elements app?

The gameplay is the same: the same four starting elements, the same drag-and-drop combining, the same idea of building everything one pair at a time. On this site the game has its own color theme, so it looks a little different from the app. Progress is not shared between the two, because there are no accounts; each keeps its own discoveries on its own device.

Do results ever change?

No. In this game the same two elements always give the same result, which is why a step-by-step recipe works every time. The only moment something new is decided is when a pair is tried for the very first time. Then the result is generated by AI, together with an emoji, and from then on that pair keeps giving the same answer.

How many elements are there?

There is no fixed number. Because new pairs are generated as people try them, the game keeps growing. To give a sense of scale, our recipe search currently indexes about 196,000 elements and 3.4 million known recipes.

Playing

I'm new. Where should I start?

Make the ten pairs you can build from the four starting elements, such as Water + Water = Lake and Earth + Wind = Dust. Then pick a short target, like the Black Hole at five steps, and follow its guide. Our beginner's guide walks through a whole first session, and the starter recipes table shows what the first 14 elements do with each other.

Why are some results so strange?

Because nobody wrote them by hand. When a pair is combined for the first time, an AI decides what it becomes, and it sometimes reaches for a pun, a brand name or a very loose association. That is part of the fun, and it is also why pop-culture characters can be made at all. If a result is no use to you, Remove elements in Settings takes it out of your list.

Why is my result different from the one in a video?

Most likely the video shows a different version of the game. The original on neal.fun and other versions use their own recipe data, so the same pair can produce a different element there. The guides on this site were checked in this game, in October 2026.

If one of our steps doesn't work for you, check that you used exactly the element named. Lake and Wave share an emoji, as do Steam and Smoke, and Volcano and Lava.

How do I make a specific thing?

Look it up in our 179 recipe guides. Each one gives the full path from Water, Fire, Wind and Earth, and every step only uses things you made earlier in the same guide. If your target isn't covered, the recipe search shows how an element is made and what it combines into.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes, in two ways. This site works in mobile browsers: drag elements with your finger, just as you would with a mouse. Or install the app, Infinite Elements – AI Craft, from the App Store or Google Play. On the App Store it has a 4.7-star rating from about 16,000 ratings.

Is Infinite Craft suitable for kids?

The game itself is simple and calm, with no chat and no contact with other players. Keep in mind, though, that results for new combinations are generated by AI, and once in a while one may be odd or not something you'd want a young child to see. Parents may want to supervise younger children while they play.

Progress and settings

How is my progress saved?

In your browser, on your device. There is no account and no cloud copy. Open the site again in the same browser and your list of discoveries will be there.

Why did my progress disappear?

The usual reasons are that your browser's site data or storage was cleared, that you played in a private or incognito window, or that you are now using a different browser or device. Any of these means the saved game isn't available. A Full reset in Settings also wipes everything. Unfortunately there is no way for us to restore lost progress, because it is never stored anywhere except your device.

How do I reset the game?

Open Settings with the gear icon in the top right corner and choose Full reset. The game asks "Do you really want to reset?" and, once you confirm, deletes all of your discoveries. This cannot be undone.

If you only want a tidier screen, use Clear the game board instead: it removes the items lying on the board but keeps everything in your list. To get rid of a few specific elements, use Remove elements and select the ones to delete.

Which languages can I play in?

The game has ten interface languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Ukrainian. Element names are translated too. The site itself is available in 13 languages. When you open the game here, it starts in the language of the page you are reading if it is one of those ten, and in English otherwise. You can change it any time under Settings > Language.

Why are there ads?

Ads are how we keep the game and the guides free for everyone. We try to keep them out of the way of the game and the recipes, and you never need to pay or sign up to use anything on the site.

A recipe in a guide doesn't work. What should I do?

Please tell us. Write down the guide, the step, the two elements you combined and the result you got, then send it through our contact page. We check every report against the game.

How can I contact you?
